can you relate to these symptoms?
Question: It first started with the apan oinment would ease the discomfort. hence what i went to the doc for. Surprised by his prononcement of herpes. Ok, with good courgaei called my partner who was really understanding and mentioned that the blisters were not new, that maybe i had caught from my previous relation and he's stick by me. Thank God for a good man.. Anyway took some prescribed meds right after. Im from the french section and soit was ZELITREK... does anyone know of it? Anyway expereinced terrible side effects to my skin. it's like goose bumps that were rasied but never went down and itching, had to stop before the complete dosage. The the bliters and uncomfortable peeing sensation went away and viewing my recation,i foled myself that i was misdiagnosed, that i have not herpes. Thats when my complications arise. seroius abdominal and back pains, sore heel, sore throat, and swollen glands armpits and groins. Imagine how i panicked.. Saw HIV and all other STD's heading at my life. Subsequentlt to that i took all std test except gonorreahea and herpes. Was diagnosed all negative expect with a symptom of inflammation. then did a pelvic test and everything seemed fine there too. Then the obvious was to carry out the herpes. Came out positive. with no blisters i began again the same treatment,to again encounter the same side effects. Have sinced stopped. Today i still have those glands, small, a bit painful at times, slight pain in the neck, a very mild throat discomfort, notging to fuss over. But what bothers me is a slight pain under my heel when i walk and veins that have popped up my legs and hurt especially in tall shoes. Concerned also that those glands are still there after two months. Taking now aniflammatory tabs and some ointment for inflammation to rub down. Actually knowing is not the problem here, but just this general feeling of malaise that comes along here, though not tired, i just feel that i'm not at my best. If you can relate, send a note. Much thanks Answer: The symptoms of outbreaks are different for everyone but never fun to deal with. If you can't take the antiviral medications there are vitamin supplements you can begin to take and also foods to avoid that can cause outbreaks. Have you heard of the amino acid L-lysine? if you take it daily it can prevent some of the symptoms you describe. here are some links for you to read of ways to help prevent outbreaks. Some people on this site give good recommendations for over the counter medications such as choraphor and h-balm for herpes outbreaks but I have not tried them. I get the most relief from taking vitamin supplements and taking Acyclovir (Zovirax) daily. Answer: I get very swollen lymph glands all the time from the virus, also get bad neck pain in general from it and have felt pain in my heals as well from time to time.....all of these are signs that alert me the virus is active in the body and are a heads up i am probably contagious, though I dont get typical symptoms either. What you are experiencing is very normal for herpes actually, just not all people who have herpes experiences these symptoms so pronounced as we do. Id recommend the lysine too and vitamins and taking immune builders....since you can not visibly see the outbreaks but feel the symptoms, that is a good indicator you may be contagious during these times. Often times people will not ever see visible signs in the ares they are infected. I hope you find somethings that work for you. Good luck :) Answer: The following are symptoms that I have experienced with genital hsv2: 1. Bad back pain 2. Pain in the base of my head 3. Stomach pain 4. Tingling in my arm/hand/foot 5. Numbness in my groin 6. Pressure in my vagina 7. Headache 8. General sick feeling 9. Fever Basically nothing really relieved my pain, but time. As time passed, I have started to feel much better. I still get back, arm, and head pain, but it is definitely not like it was in the past. I truly believe that it does get better with time. I have come a mighty long way since I was first diagnosed in November 2006. I was totally down and out and I felt like crap, but it has gotten much better (especially emotionally). Answer: This is my first outbreak and as my name suggests, I am scared to death. I am trying to do all I can to keep it under control but I was just wondering how long some of your first obs lasted? I'm taking Valtrex and have been for 3 days now. Going to get on suppressive treatment. Is that a good idea? Answer: Not everyone can take the antivirals but for me they are an absolute miracle. I use the Acyclovir but I hear that Valtrex might be even better. My medical plan will not cover the Valtrex. The biggest difference I've seen between the two is I must take the suppressive twice a day but Valtrex can be once a day and although Valtrex eventually breaks down in the body to be exactly the same as Acyclovir it is more stable in the bloodstream and holds a higher concentration of medication. Answer: are headaches (or pain in the neck) associated with h? bc i always have neck pain that results in headaches that can turn to a migraine. and as for medication... is it really worth it if i only get an ob maybe 2 or 3 times a year? i would be worried bc 1. i think the meds are still quite new, 2. if i take it then stop, the obs will be more frequent. normally i don't take any medication for h - just baths. Answer: Hello everyone, I just wanted to add, I do not have outbrakes, just pain in my body. I have had this pain since Aug. 2006. The pain is only in the mornings after I get up for about one hour it goes away(three months after I met the man I believe gave it to me). I am a believer of holistice treatment and at that time I was seeing my holistice doctor whom was the one who told me my pain was in my body because of HSV and it was making my blood bad. After my "gi gong" treatments some may call it "si gong". My pain go completely away for maybe three months. I'm not sure because I go for a regular treatment every three months anyway just to keep up on my health. If I was not doing this, I would not have caught the HSV2 and could have gave it to someone else without knowing. I am sure I am not going to take any of the medicaiton out their because this helps me and I am aganst any type of medication. After my treatments. the next day I run about two miles a day. this is the time I get the most out of working out. my holistic doctor is very well known here in Ohio for being right on the money.
