could i have herpes?

Question:
ok so i recently shared an alchoholic beverage, a couple actually, i just had a sip of each, from this girl who offered it to me, Ive only met her a few times and i dont really know her and her background but theres rumors that shes sexually active. I wasnt even thinking about how she might have herpes until my gf flipped out when i told her i had a sip. I had kissed my girlfriend twice after i had the drink, so if i were to have herpes is it possible to spread it from getting it on the first day?

so my main questions are:

is my chance at having herpes high?
and
is it possible to spread herpes in one day from getting it?

Answer:
it depends, do you even know if the girl has herpes?
being sexualy active doesnt mean shes 100% to have herpes.
then you have to figure out if she even has oral herpes, or genital herpes.
if she has oral, and was having a active outbreak and you had shared drinks, then yes theres a high risk of possibly getting herpes that way, and also spreading it to your gf by kissing her.
but if you dont really know anything about the girl and are just assuming, UNLESS you are experience, some symptoms...
either way- wait a few weeks, and go get tested if that will help clear your mind, or just ask the girl if she has oral herpes...

Answer:
thats such an impossible question.

its high is she has an active coldsore on her face.

otherwise not really no. - a very low chance -even if she has oral herpies.

just because she been having sex doesnt mean shes got herpies.

Answer:
yeah I know but i hear shes kinda slutty, so it made me worry, i didn't see any sores on her mouth at the time.. but make up can do wonders..

Answer:
Also, I don't kno who else was sharing the drink.

but if i dont have a sore i cant spread it?

Answer:
It is dangerous to make assumptions and then to ask perfect strangers if statistically you could now be infected with a virus.

The likelyhood of you getting herpes from her drink is just the same as you getting it from sharing a lemonade with your grandmother.

Most people get oral hsv infections while they are children from innocent family members who don't know that cold sores are a contagious virus.

Answer:
Sorry - in other words I doubt that there is reason for you to be concerned.

I wouldn't stress out worrying about this one.

Answer:
so since you have the balls to call her slutty, just man up and ask the girl.
plain and simple.

Answer:
solid snake

have you been blood tested lately? has your girlfriend.

odds are on that one of u already have it.

dont say u havent had one so u havent, as alot of peeps who have HSV never have an outbreak.
