Question:
I recently found out that i have herpes and i dont know any one else who has this disease. I was sort of in a relationship that is now over and i would just like to meet some people who are cool and have simular interest as me, that will not look down on me for the situation i am in. So is there any body out there?

Well Jynae, you came to the right place. I think I can safely say that most (if not all) individuals on this site either is or has experienced what you are feeling. Personally, I felt the same way that you do now. When I was first diagnosed, I felt as if no one else had this virus, but now I know that is definitely not the case. You may be feeling alone and down right now, but believe me, you will eventually feel better. It may happen in one month, two months, one year or longer, that I cannot determine, but the most important thing is that you will get better and there are people who will support you during this time. This site is very supportive and will help you along the way with a lot of information regarding issues that you may face while dealing with this virus. I know that it has tremendously helped me a great, great deal. I wish that I could be welcoming you under better circumstances; however, I am here for you as well as the other individuals who are on this forum.
