oral sex(female to male)
Question: I don't know, recently divorced and a few days ago I was with a nice female, professional, but had had some multiple partners in the past. Nothing noticeable on her mouth or skin. We did not have intercourse, but she did give me oral sex for about 1 minute. Only reason I say anything here is since that incident(There was ejaculation) I have had a slight, very light burning pain that does not go away. That happened almost immediately. Got me wondering with this 2-20 day symptom deal. Today I noted some either pimples or small bumps on my lower stomach(Area of pubic hairs). Got me wondering again. Hey, I'm 40 and single and it's a scary world. So questions: Is there any %'s on oral sex causing genital herpes with the time span? What exactly should I look for? Someone else said "If you have it you'll know it", whatever that means.... Thanks for any help or advice.[/i] Answer: Hi, Just to clarify.... You can get herpes from anyone... if she is professional or not professional, if she is virgin or a hooker :o , nice or.. not so nice,... just doesn't matter.. Ok, anyway..., If she had cold sore on her lip or inside of her mouth, yes there is a possibility that you got herpes from her. (whether she has type 1 or 2) Typically, you start feeling a kind of "tingling" ( skin feels very sensitive ), a few days before outbreak (like many small pimples) appears. And eventually they form a blister. Some people experience flu-like symptoms, painful sore, fever, muscle pain, headache,... but some don't. It really depends on the person.. So to know what it is, you've gotta go see a doctor and get tested. But test result by culture can be inaccurate ( you can get false negative result) if you wait too long, so it's very important to go see a doctor as soon as you realize the pimples appering. I don't think that the pain from herpes starts as soon as you are exposed to the virus,... but.. if you have any suspicion in your mind, I think it's best to go see a doctor. Also there is a post called "EVERYONE SHOULD READ THIS article 2 final" in the category of Everything Herpes, in this forum, which is written by Richard, and it's very informative. You might want to read it through if you didn't yet. Hey I'm 36 and single, and it's not a scary world at all. :-D I'm telling you the truth. Best wishes.. Faith Answer: Thank U Faith for your reply. I do plan on going to the doctor. I guess when I was using the example as a "professional" I wasn't thinking, or rather didn't want people responding thinking I do this all the time, but you are correct. I work out a lot(Obviously sweat), and sometimes from running I do get rashes. I guess I was just coorelating the two(The sexual encounter and the noticing of the small "pimplelike bumps"). There is only like four of them, and are located in the pubic hair area an inch or two above the penis(not to be gross, but it sounds like you know what you are talking about). What do you think though if they just go away, and don't blister as you describe? I guess I look at some of the pics I've seen and geez..pretty horrible. As far as the burning sensation, it seems located in the tip of the uretha, and did start almost immediatley after. It's not terrible, just uncomfortable. It does not burn and more or less during urination. Another thing....when I go to the doc, do I just ask for a "herpes test"? Or do I have to go to a clinic for that, etc.? Appreciate your response. Hopefully as you say, it will become less scary as I go along :) Copyright © 2007 - 2008 www.thanktoday.com
