I don't know if I have it yet or not. I have had a rash twice on the head of my penis. but there is absolutley no pain, no itching, no burning, no swollen glands, nothing like that. I just looked down and there it was. I dont know what to think. It looks pretty bad, but it goes away in 2-3 days max. I dont know why I think it's herpes, but you know, all the sites say it could be so mild that you wont even notice it. Can anyone please tell me if any of their outbreaks are anything like that.

I always recommend getting yourself to a dr and getting a professional opinion. don't wait for our opinion of your symptoms because we can't diagnose you and you are wasting valuable time and potentially compromising your own health.

if your dr wobbles at all and doesn't order testing you should insist just to be sure. there is no harm in getting the testing while you are there.

and as for is this the kind of experience others have - Yep it sure is - not everyone experiences exactly that but many who have hsv do.
