problem listerine& vitamin C
Question: I get these little dry red spots in my tounge sometimes when I use listerine...I remmember that I poped a vitamin C pill in my mouth and held it inside for a couple of seconds... it started to burn and i saw little bit of blood come out off those red spots....I dont know if this is herpes or if its just becuase most of the time i dont have time to brush.....? Answer: I take vitamin c and use listerine and don't have that happen to me. I'd ask my dr or dentist for their thoughts on this one. Unless I completely don't understand your description - the little tiny bumps on your tongue are taste buds and the chewable vitamin c's might be rough on them. Have you tried taking the vitamin c supplements that you can swallow? or possibly wait for 30 minutes after using the listerine before eating your vitamin c's. Answer: well vit c is acid, ascorbic acid. it isnt ment to in pill form be sitting on your tounge it should be taken as quickly as possible so it doesnt disolve anywhere other then your stomach. Answer: they are not the taste buds they look like res spots sice off a little mint pill... The closest thing i can describe is if feels like when you burn your tounge when you drink something really hot.... the areas that are red feel dry.. Salt and water mouth was seems to help... the heal but still have it... contagious? herpes? by the way this started yesterday around 5pm-6pm... and then took vitamin C and l-lysing and mouth sea salt mouth washing and it seems to help tremendously.... please let me know ok thanks Copyright © 2007 - 2008 www.thanktoday.com
