she was with him since last november, i hav been with her since april - we've both been tested twice for various things by planned parenthood, and dont hav any signs. he just found out (its now almost july).

i read symptoms usually appear after 20 days, is that true? how likely is it we could be infected? should we have reason to worry... i've been to a doctor and got my blood test about 2 weeks after i was with her.

did you have herpes specific testing?

it is not uncommon for someone to have an ob within 2 -26 days after exposure. of course someone can also have it and never have symptoms for many years and then bamm a big giant ob.

I'd be curious what kind of testing he was diagnosed by and how many tests it took this may be an indicator of when he was infected? Since he let her know it sounds like he may be able to share the particulars on the test which might be useful for the two of you.

If he had bloodwork did he get a copy that can tell you if there were IgG or IgM results with percentages? and maybe what they were?
