Oral Numbness

Question:
About one week ago I felt some weird numbness/tingles around my lips and then three days back a painful sore developed inside my left cheek which I broke with my tongue and then felt better.... but now... I have two more sores, one further back between my teeth and cheek, and one very sore one just on the same side next to my hanger... what do you call that little thing that hangs down in back of the throat and the dr tells you to say ahhhhh to make it move out of the way when checking you throat.. ? well if that doesn't beat all... I haven't any clue how my H2 got there! I've only been diagnosed with HSV2, not cold sores. I sure hope I'm wrong about this.

Gods, my dentist knows I have h2 but now I'm worried about that since I just saw him yesterday for a cleaning and never knew or thought this could be herpes in my mouth.

What can be done about oral H2??? Help! :(:(:(

Answer:
uvula, is what its called.
and its possible you could have transfered it to yourself, during sexual activites, or just touching your genitals then touching your mouth...

Answer:

and its possible you could have transfered it to yourself, during sexual activites, or just touching your genitals then touching your mouth... I know I never touched my mouth after touching down there... no way... and sex has gone out the window since my first outbreak.... done deal.

Shoot, how can this be treated if it's inside and what if it spreads to my lungs or some such thing? I'm really freaked out! ( I know I know, medication is the only answer):shock:

Answer:
dont worry it wont go to your lungs.

its also possible you could have shared something w/ someone who was having a outbreak, thats a easy way to get into your mouth.
its also possible, you might just have tonsilitis- my tonsils, look like the moon, all cratered and have that sore look. infact some mornings, i question it, but i know they are from doctors refusing to remove them because apparently i dont complain enough>>> which is why you should see a doctor, and find out if it really is oral herpes, or just something else.
