good artical for deciding which is the best road to take when it comes to treating yourself with meds. I might try the farmi-stuff... I'm giving myself a chance to see what my body is going to do on its own now after I have finished treating my primary outbreak a few days ago. so far so good.

I had signs of my primary ob almost 3 weeks ago. took me exactly a week to get to docs. was diagnosed and was given Acyclovir 400 mg 3 tima day. Noticed instant results. Have been off for 3 days now and doing fine. Have been over my outbreak since about 3 days of taking the meds. Completely healed now. oOnly change in my life thus far is "protected" sex with my honey. Other than that doing everything the same. Have not had any signs ove a second one as of yet.

So you know... the outbreak was pretty painful and had continued blistering until a day into the meds.

Oh, and I do have to make a follow up to disuss my options and discuss further with my doc. I was quite shaken at the initial visit. almost jumped off the bed thingy during my exam.. joy.
