I read from a dr online that one doesn't get prodrome before an initial OB...that you only get them before reoccurring OB's.

is this true?

I feel like sometimes when I walk or stretch in a certain way that I can feel a tenderness in the area above my penis.

well from what i have read that isnt exactly true. I have been told, that some people can experience flu like symptoms. It depends on your immune system, because it can be very different for every person. For myself, I felt like i was coming down with a really bad cold a couple of days before i felt the first "unknown" bumps rising. I was having horrible headaches, i found it difficult to concetrate almost like when you have a head cold, and my whole body ached to the extent that it was very painful to even move my eyes to look of to the side, i had to actually move my whole head. I had these symptoms before and during my first inital outbreak. From what i have been told that these flu like symptoms are quite common, but once again it depends on the person :)

oh yeah, I heard you get flu symptoms...but when I said prodromes, I mean do you get tingles and itching before the first outbreak? what were the bumps like when u saw them? were they obviously blisters or could they have been like pimples or warts?
