Question:
A few weeks ago, i got a canker sore in my mouth. Eventually, the sore went away. However, within a few days, the back of my throat was on fire. I had a bunch of white marks and my mouth looked very odd. I also had a bad fever. I went to the doctor and he said that I had a bad throat infection. He put me on anti-biotics, which eventually took my fever away and made it so that I could actually swallow.

It has been a week since I started my antibiotics and my throat still hurts. I looked into my mouth tonight with a flash light and I saw what looked like canker sores and/ or mouth ulcers.

I am concerned because I recently slept with someone who I know for a fact has genital herpes. We used a condom and she is a dedicated Valtrex user. Either way, I am pretty scared. What do you guys think?

no... we only had sex. she has genital herpes, but not oral herpes.
