blister for 3 weeks
Question: I've got two small white blisters on the end of my penis for over three weeks now. They are painful and are not going away. I haven't been to the doctor yet, bit I'm sure it got to ber herpes. Is it normal though for them to last this long? Answer: Dude - I don't want to sound too critical, but if you've had painful blisters on your tool for 3 weeks go to the doctor! Who knows what it is right now... Answer: Believe it or not this crap can last that long!!! I'd go to the doctor and make sure you get a blood test to see if it is in fact herpes. Sometimes they only do a swab test and that doesn't always work. Good luck and hopefully it isn't really herpes. Answer: Believe it or not this crap can last that long!!! I've read a lot of stories, and blister should not last this long. Does this mean I have more weeks pain when they ulcer? Answer: DO NOT burst the blisters if it is herpes it could spread that way. Get some lysine if you have a local GNC or other place to get it make sure its pure or order some from dymaniclear. Best to assume it is herpes for the time being and save yourself the pain of weeks of blisters if it is. Go to the doctors for meds and maybe cream and don't touch it! If it is herpes you can spread it especially during a first outbreak. Don't worry though like 50-60% of the popluation has herpes in 1 form or another its not a big deal once your immune system adjusts. Some people have more trouble then others cause of all the diff strains and diff immune systems. We are all here to help if you need us so don't worry about being alone:) Hugs Answer: the bumps really can last a long time, and also, it is possible that the bumps could get infected and that can also delay healing. Some people do burst the blisters in the presence of an antiseptic agent (cause otherwise you will spread it everywhere - those blisters are full of gazillions of infectious viral units) and say that it heals up earlier. However in your case I think that may be unwise since you've had them for so long, and there may be other stuff going on. Also, if you get to a doc while you still have intact blisters they can take both a swab test and do a blood test... just to increase your chances of finding out what is wrong.
