So my partner and I had sex for the first time since we found out we have herpes. He gave it to me. I thought I was over my first OB. All the sores had cleared up and there was ni itching or pain anymore. But since last night, I'm all itchy and sore and red again. What gives? Am I having another OB? Is it the same OB and it just wasn't over? Whats going on?

It appears that you didn't provide sufficient amount of time between first ob. Sometimes males experience ob and don't realize it because it's not as visible or painful as for females. I got this information from the book, "The Truth About Herpes."

If ob are not completely healed up and the immune system is not 100%, I would think that the virus would have enough strength to do what it wants, normally to cause havic on our sensitive parts.

If you know it's an ob, then treat it well. If you are still not sure, then go to the obgyn to make sure so it can be treated properly.

friction for some people can also stimulate another OB... and especially in the beginning, a minority of people experience back to back outbreaks anyway, friction or not. Some people also get prodromal symptoms frequently (and it doesn't always have to develop into an OB)... It's also possible that you still had internal sores that just weren't bothering you...

might want to treat yourself as if you are having another OB and see how things progress...

Thought I was almost over my first ob but I seem to be getting new and interesting symptoms daily... the aches and high temperature went, then there was the soreness, then excruciating pain, then completely numb buttocks! which spread all over, now ridiculous itching... starting to think It'll never end. or maybe it's just nother ob straight after. Just wish I knew. got my test results back yesterday which confirmed HSV 1. tired of it now..
