Well I haven't had unprotected sex with anyone but in the last 3 months I've had 3 outbreaks.

My first one was 2 pimple like things I went to a doctor and he just gave me a visual and said it didn't look like herpes..... but 3-4 days later i had like 5-6 little pimples that were itchy. They didn't hurt or anything but were itchy they laster scabbed over. They're not on my penis but they're on my jock are like where my boxers cover the not on the actual shaft of the penis.

Is there any chance it could be anything else? I'm going to go get tested soon but I've just been so scarred...

I could be anything until you get tested. Why did the doctor NOT do a swab test? I was first told by my doctor that I did not have herpes either, because he "suspected" that the location of the ob and my lifestyle; well, it just couldn't be. Since I had never, ever experienced anything like I did (my first OB), I insisted on blood work. Well, don't ya know, positive results.

Hsv2 likes the entire "boxer short" region, you will read that alot on this forum. It does not have to be on the penis for it to be herpes.

Get tested, and hopefully, it will be negative. You came to the right place for support and information.

yeah, are you a male? How do u know when it's just a pimple or a herpes blister? They both look the same and they both pop the same right?

i am a female; my first ob was 3 pimples but if and when they popped, i was unaware. yes, they looked like regular white head pimples.
