My name is Nick I'm new, I'm Gay, and I might be infected. I went to Plan Parenthood three days ago. I know its a rip off and to be honest I didn't find the doctor that pleasant. I was hoping they would do all this testing on me for STDs and HIV/AIDS. I tested negitive for HIV/AIDS. The doctor only tested me for Genital Herpes and gonorrhea with a swab. I didn't enjoy it that well just when they stuck it right in. It was very unpleasant I'm sure the men on this board know what I mean. I didn't scream or yell when she did it. She told me some guys did when she did the test on them. So anyways, I asked the Doctor if she would do more testing like for Syphilis, Chlamydia, Hepatitis, and Trichomonas. She told me I would have to go somewhere else.

cause taking a swab wouldnt help anything since you need a actual spot to scrape the cells from>>> then they are grown in a lab, so unless you had some symptoms, that test will most likely come back negative/ or unreadable- which is a waste of your time and money if you spent any.

do you have another PP in your area? maybe you can go to the local clinic in your hospital and get tested their?

I'm serious and I didn't get a phone call yet from Plan Parenthood. I really don't know if I'm positive or negitive for genital herpes. She had like no clue as to what it was. She thought it could be gonorrhea or genital herpes. Before I went to Plan Parenthood to a check up my friend said it might be an infection from your foreskin.

Hello nick, If you have herpes usually you will get the primary symptoms of a outbreak its not to uncommon however not to get any. I can't believe they didn't test you for Syphilis, Chlamydia, and especially Hepatitis.

Well if your having trouble urinating or really bad blister pain I would advise getting some lysine and olive tree extract from GNC. Maybe some vitamin C also that will help you some. Also cut back on any drugs or alcohol your on.
