I have had 2 partners over the past 10 months. With the first boyfriend, the last sexual contact about 6 months prior to first OB (sex was always protected). With the second boyfriend, the last day of sex was the first week of June. I had a primary ob two days after our last sexual contact. Culture taken 2 days later was positive , the bloodwork taken that same day was negative for both IGM and IGG.. my doctor said that based on these results, the only possible infector is the most recent sexual encounter.

I know who it is....Meanwhile, the bloodwork is negative.... this is impossible!

the infector is of course the second person... he is just trying to tell me he isn't . i am obsessed!!!! i can't believe someone can lie like this!!!! my first bf was tested and is negative!!

Why do people lie about having this virus is the million dollar question. However, after contracting this virus and swearing that my ex-boyfriend lied to me about him having it, I am starting to think that he did not know. I have read countless of stories stating that individuals did not know they had HSV. I found that hard to believe in the beginning, but now I am starting to rethink my position on not knowing.:confused:
