Positive for GHSV1. I felt sad for a minute and quickly recovered, as I've been through far worse.

The good news is, after telling my husband and offering him the option to leave, he said he loves me and "isn't going anywhere over something so minor". He did question how we could be together for 4 years and not have symptoms til now. So I explained everything I've learned about HSV and explained to him that the sores he gets in his mustache/beard area may not be pimples as he thought they were (he was told that one of the sores was a 'stress blister' and he says he only gets it when really stressed out). And of course, also explained that either one of us could have had this for years, never had symptoms and can still spread the virus without symptoms.

Anyhow, I thought if I posted the positive side of my experience on here that perhaps the new person may find some hope in their own experience.

I know we can catch GHSV1 if he performs on me!

Are you OB mild and how often do you get them or is this just your first?

My partner gain his results Thursday and was negative I am in the wind still is we are going to be together but I want to be educated to continue to have him show up negative.
