Question:
Did I spell "hemmoroids" right?

Anywhoo, anyone ever confuse hemmoroids for an outbreak?

I actually had a hemeroid a couple days ago. I really dont think it was an ob cause I got it then two day later I got prep H. And within two days it was completly gone. I think a hemeroid is more solid feeling then an ob. The hemeroid I had was somewhat hard and in the shape of a ball.

Yes!! the doctor told me I had hemmrhoids and an anal fissure and I had neither!! Now my but burns every day of my life - no relief from Valtrex!!! I want to just check out I tell ya'!

see if your dr can make sure that it isn't caused by a bacterial infection. I had horrific itch and thought it was hsv or a hemmorhoid and it was neither. Took a round of meds and GONE! Yeah!

Yes, I thought I had hemorrhoids. My anus had a burning and irritated feeling :(, but I never thought it was herpes until I was diagnosed.

Please anyone! My anus has been itching for almost a full year. I have better days, but on pretty much everyday, the itching is there. I don't think Hemmroids, I do have Herpes. Preparation H doesn't help, just painful. Nothing seems to help. I have great urges to scratch and that leads to more pain. Any suggestions?:confused:

I went through the same thing and it was neither hemmorhoids or hsv.

i found out i have genital HSV2 in September after going to the dr. for my first outbreak. he put me on valtrex which cleared up the ob in a few days and then the next week i got my period. 2 days later I got a 2nd more milder ob. At the same time, I could not use the bathroom for a few days because the area around my anus hurt. :( Although I used a mirror and looked at my butt, I did not see any sores. But with so many people posting that they were not sure if they had herpes or hemmroids, I'm a little scared. I even went to the gastroenterologist who didn't look at my butt, but did come to the conclusion that it was an anal cut (I had one last year). I can use the bathroom now, but since now I have herpes should I worry that it may have been herpes or hemmroids or should I assume it was a fissure like he said?:confused:

Huh??? the same thing happend to me went to go get checked i was also worried that is was HSV but my doc said fissure... its gone now and im fine, but that does scare me a bit....
