Not sure if I am infected
Question: Hey guys, this is my first post, and this week, has been a HELL of a week. I am from a near by city close to Ottawa, Canada. Annyways, my girlfriend and I broke up recently, and we had alot of crying ect ect. But, one day I went to see her at her house to say thank you for all the good moments we had and such, but she was on her way to the doctor's. Annyways, I call her later on, and she says I'll call you back, I can't talk right now. So, I was very on-edge to know what was going on, so I call her mom's cellphone (because her mom was with her) and her mom says "Nick, she's with the doctor right now, she has a vaginal inffection, she will call you back when she gets out." so I wait and I wait, 2 hours pass, still no call, during that time, I talk with some of my friends and ask them if a Vaginal Inffection is an STD. They all said no and showed me some websites about yeast inffections and such. Then around 5h30 my cell phone rings, I answer, and it's her I said "Are you okay?" and she said "well uhm... no (and she was crying a little) the doctor said it's herpes" I jumped out of my chair, I was panicing, I asked her all sorts of questions, she said the doctor was almost SURE at 90% it was herpes. What a week Annyways, I was her first boyfriend, she was a virgin, and I had had unsafe sex in the past. But, I never really got "outbreaks" but last year, around december 2006, I saw I had little red bumps on my penis when I was taking a piss at work, but I had noticed them before (the appeard after I had masturbated like, 6 times in a day) Annyways, I got checked, and the results came back negative. I called every girl with whom I had unsafe sex if they had anny STDs, they all said no. So could this be a wrong diagnosis? Because my ex has all the exact herpes symptoms. And about this drug "Valtrex" what are the side effects? Thanks Answer: Oh, and she said that her outbreaks hurt, when I had the bumps, they didn't hurt, at all. And about this drug "Valtrex" what are the side effects? Thanks Some say its usually more common for women to had the side effects more quickly. Just because you only have one outbreak does not mean you have it. And personaly the doctor could have been wrong or made a mistake because it mite have been too soon to tell. So maybe you need to go back to the doctor and explain that your ex has it and see if you passed it on too her. Is there any chance before she was with you did she have oral sex with anyone. I mean just because she was a virgin does not mean she did have oral with someone else. Now im not trying to be mean or judgemental so please don't take it the wrong way. You just need to weigh out all your options and so does she. By best bet is for you to go to the doctor like i said and be checked out once again. Cause if the doctor said it's 90% she most likely has it espically if he could tell befor she even got blood work done. Now the valtrex. Not really sure what the side effects are. Too me there doesn't seem to be any. But it's differnt for everyone. So that's something you would have to talk to your doctor about. But it works really really well. And starts to clear up very soon. Answer: And about this drug "Valtrex" what are the side effects?  Keep in mind that some people never experience any side effects. Hope this helps, Shenda Answer: no, she never did annything before me god, I've talked to all my last sex partners..and they all said they we're clean.. :( Copyright © 2007 - 2008 www.thanktoday.com
