i contracted genital herpes from my now x-girlfriend last may. and from the time of my inital outbreak until just recently, i constantly had sores somwhere around where my pubic hairs are near my "belly". i tried everything Valtrex, hair dryer, etc... finally i stumbled upon the lysine treatment. i changed to caffinee free sodas (i drank about 6 cokes a day) and took 2000 mg of lysine a day. within 2-3 weeks i was totally cleared up. and what blisters popped up while taking the lysine went away very quickly.

this is a very inexpensive way to control outbrteaks. compared to the Valtrex suppressive therapy.

i just thought that i would pass this information along.

Question: Is the passing of herpes, cause the break up between you and your X. Was she aware that she had it. I personally do not think ignorance is a good answer for passing this thing.

If something is ot right with your body, the person owes it to themselves and everyone else to get diagnosed. I think people feel, as long as a doctor does not tell them the obviouse (something is not right down there) than that frees them from guilt of passing it.

I think that was the case on how I contracted it. He claims that he did not know. You mean you don't think twice about bumps that come and go on your penis. I did noy buy that at all. I was just not PISSED because we did use a condom at the time of contraction.
