Question:
Hi all,
Just had a few questions..
Its been very hot where i live and my clothes have been rubbing into my legs and where my butt meets my leg. I saw i had a pinkish very like red bump on my butt. Also, I have been feeling like my skin is so sore from the pants rubbing against my thighs. I am a lil sore from my knees up, but i do remember last week trying to lift a full box of files while at work and i had to do the same this week.. which would explain why i hurt dont u think? Is it normal when u sweat to get lil pinkish/red bumps? They usually go away in a day. I am a lil sensitive where my pantyline would be on the side of my leg near my pubic hair and the area is also sensitive. I read that thats the signs of pre pms. My questions are... how can u tell if anything i said sounds like herp? I heard some1 say you can also get lil cuts? do they look like "lil" cuts or u cant see them just feel them? Also, do the blisters for herp ooze clear liquid or white/yellow? and is it possible to have a blister with yellowish puss and a black dot in the middle of it?
Thanks and sorry for all the questions

Answer:
I have very sensitive skin and periodically I get that reaction from clothing.

It is not unusual to get little irritations from clothing rubbing against your skin especially in areas where there might be elastic. some call it chafing. this happens even without a virus for many people.

And yes if you did some lifting and you don't usually do this it could cause some muscle soreness that can show up even a day or so after the workout.

I'd recommend keeping that area clean and dry and wearing something less snug for a few days. A body powder might help. I like the Monistat brand micropowder designed to reduce irritation. It is really silky. If you are sore you might consider taking some otc pain meds such as tylenol or motrin.

Answer:
the little cuts i am referring to are exactly as they sound....little tiny tiny cuts...some of my symptoms are those sometimes......other times it feels like little cuts but i cant see anything visible(perhaps they arent viewable to the naked eye)

your rash might just be heat rash....see if it goes away in a few days.

Answer:
Ok.. i have a nother question. i had someone look at the tiny red bump near my buttcrack. and i was told its not even a raised "bump" but it did look like i cut my skin open. Its so sore to sit down. Does herp feel like that if u get it on your butt? and how long is the time before u usually have a breakout after being exposed to the virus itself?

Answer:
Do you have hsv? or just worried you've been exposed? I recall that your tests were negative is that still true?

Answer:
well... according to the state free clinic they dont administer hsv tests.. which to me is kinda dumb on their part.. if people cant pay for a doctor to give them the test then they should have a place to go.. I had all tests done cept hsv... but i never ever in my life has any symtpoms(flu like, burning etc). The guy who accused me was clean. he went to his doc got tested and was negative. I guess you could say all the diff information i read has me nervous for any lil red spot i see on me now. All of the tests i got( moscullum, goronhea, sypphillis were negative. When this bump came to be i felt it and it was very hard like(and still is) and looking at it.. its still blood red and from what i can see it looks like a black dot on the top and almost seems like a lil blood . The burning i had a few days ago went from a pea sized red patch of skin to a purple ugly bruise that is now gone. I dont think i was exposed(gawd i hope not), but i read 2-4 weeks is the usual time it is for symptoms to start showing.. i just kinda wanted to make sure.. cause if so... i slept with Mr got tested and was clean in Jan. I have read so many things it could be.. cysts(sounds more and more like one to me), abcesses, allergic reactions... I wouldnt think though hsv would make it so painful i cant put pressure on my butt... or would it?
:confused::cry:

Answer:
my outbreaks around my butt are tiny little cuts....sometimes just one tiny tiny cut that stings when water touches it and sometimes hurts when using the bathroom but it is not unbearable, I can sit down just fine. I dont get blister like things, never have so my tiny little almost invisible cuts around the butt are my outbreaks....also get redness and like a weird rash thing in the pubic hair region but am seeing various doctors as they think the two might not even be related but it is very possible the thing you have on the butt is in fact herpes....sounds just like it.

Also, I would insist on seeing mr cleans test results to know for sure if he was in fact tested for herpes via blood because most people are misinformed and think testing for "all stds" includes herpes testing when it DOES NOT unless you specifically get blood work done for herpes....so he might have got "all negatives" but was never tested for herpes....and just a swab of his penis does not tell you if he has herpes or not. Now, if he did get blood work for herpes an was negative, he still might have it but just has not developed antibodies yet.....id tell him about these facts and if he cares at all about his health he would most likely want to get retested via blood(or tested by blood for herpes for the first time if he hasnt already) becauase by now antibodies could be in his blood.

by the way, have you had type specific blood work done?

Answer:
if it doesnt scab over and has been there for more than 3 weeks does that sound like herpes? The area never hurt until i started messing with it.. Before it was a hard raised brownish bump. I kinda kept scratching at it and now it started its hurting. And it could be herpes just now showing up? my friend never tried to touch my butt area.

Answer:
could be a pimple, ingrown hair, boil, or even a cyst. If you have something and you mess with it there is the possibity of it getting inflamed or starting a secondary infection.

Of course it could be hsv but without having a dr confirm it with testing I'd be reluctant to make up my mind that this is the cause. Usually hsv changes in some way over time.
