Calf Muscle Pain(Prodromal)

Question:
I think I've read somewhere that you may have lower back pain as a sign that you're about to have an outbreak from the Herpes, but is calf muscle pain apart of the prodromal period?????? My left calf muscle is very sore and when I apply pressure to it by tip-toeing on it so that the pain will eventually work its way out, it hurts so bad that I can barely do that. Who else has this issue? :x

Answer:
I do! I can still walk but the pain goes down my leg -- normally my left leg-- all the way to my ankle. Once the pain from one of the lesions was so sore the pain went all the way thru to my left foot.

My understanding of why this happens is that a lesion develops on a syatic nerve and that pain goes down the nerve into other areas of nerve endings. Also for outbreaks below the waist the virus lives at the base of the spinal cord. For outbreaks on the face the virus lives in nerve endings behind the ear lobe.

This virus is extremely complex.
