I need some serious help.....

Question:
Okay. I have these bumps around the opening to my vagina and on my vulva. They have been here since about last May. At least that's what I think. That's when I started checking down there, so they could have been there before that last time I had sex, which was April. I'm really scared. I have read sooo much online and everything I read leads me to either Herpes or Genital Warts. And I know this is a Herpes board, but I thought either way I could get some resposes. I know I need to go to a doctor, but how scared I am is pushing me away. This is interfering with my whole life. It affects my school, my work, everything. It's all I think about. And the bad thing is, I havn't told anyone about this. I am to scared and too embarassed. I just don't want to dissapoint anyone. I pray every night that the fact that there are bumps down there, it's just beccause of how my body is and that I am stressing over nothing. Another thing is when I get stressed (which is very easy) it seems to get worse, and the bumps do come and go. I mean I check a lot and I can't help it. Unless I am super busy and have no time to think about it I don't check. Oh god. I babbled..lol..sorry everyone. Any responses are appreciated.

Answer:
Deep breath!

I think you are fine..

Herpes outbreaks would not last that long.

Do your bumps itch? Or hurt or anything?

There was someone who had a similar problem a little while ago on the board, and her doctor said that those are 'normal' just the way a body is...

If those bumps don't itch, or break open, or anything... I would not at all be worried that its hsv. I can't speak to other disorders but HSV... No.

Good luck... Don't worry yourself to death, you'll be fine...

Answer:
Hi..thanks for your response!

No, I don't have any itching or burning. I mean it might burn a very little when I pee, only if I check and directly go to the bathroom. That's the only time I have any discomfort whatsoever....

Thanks again!

Answer:
That's not HSV....
