MC37 Pilot, richard or even faith only because u are female
Question: Faith - I do not mean that in a derrogatory manner at all. Please excuse the graphic nature of the post. All of you seem very adept at this topic. I have read many of your posts. I am curious as to precisely what your outbreaks look like. Richard I do not know if you have outbreaks at all but your contribution is appreciated. My situation is confusing - 3 doctors all say negative by visual inspection. Also had a swab of urethra came back negative - including herpes. No visible lesions to swab. 2.5 months now - I have had a rash of bumps completely covering my scrotum. Now the bumps are on the base, underside of my shaft and on the sides to some extent. The bumps I would estimate to be in 200-400 range. The only discomfort I would say is that the skin is irritated at times more than others especially near the part of my body where the genitals start on my bladder. The irritation is all superfical at this point. I am going to a dermatologist on the 20th. The bumps could be categorized as blisters they are very small but they take all sorts of patterns, some close in clusters, some spreadout, some even appear to be linear in nature. I would not say that the bumps themselves itch. The skin is irritated most of the time and there is discomfort. Out of stress over the weekend I tried to see what if anything was inside the bumps and foolishly picked at them. Basically there is nothing in there to at best a more solid white substance at the tip if anything at all. They are certainly not easy to burst. At first it would have appeared that the bumps were just random but upon a closer inspection I think that at least 80% have hairs with them. Could I have something that would affect that many hairs? I cant say that all of the bumps have hairs either. What are your valued opinions? Thanks, Matt Answer: Matt... I'm 100% convinced YOU DO NOT have HSV.... Seriously... Every single hair on my sac comes from a 'bump' kinda sorta... the bump is the hair follicle under the very soft skin... and the way you describe where they are... all over your sac, and up your dick a little bit.... That's just how it is. Totally normal... some clustered, some linear... YUP, totally normal... You may have some skin dryness, or abrasion that accounts for the discomfort/irritation, but how you describe 'all the bumps'... That's just a normal unit dude! That's just the hair follicles.... I'm not sure why, for example, the hair follicles on our arm do not appear as bumps, and the hair on our unit does.. I've never gotten up close and person with another guys dick, so I guess I can understand you thinking it was abnormal, as us guys have no basis for comparison... we only have our own to compare too.... But... Maybe some of the married ladies on the forum could go take and up close and personal look at their husbands package (assuming that all guys are the same, which is a big assumption) and see... But I think the skin on a sac is just in general all bumpy from hair follicles... I don't know if when I was younger if I remember the skin on my balls being so bumpy.... maybe its just something that comes at sexual maturity.... who knows.... but its normal... or at least put it this way... i know exactly what HSV blisters are like, and those aint it... also, you said not all the bumps have hair coming from them... Same here... I think some of the hair follicles don't have hair coming from them, and are just bumps.... Just like you described... some closer together... some more spread apart... totally normal.... Sometimes you get a slightly infected hair follicle that YES, you could squeeze a tiny bit of white puss from... again... totally normal.. Are you sure the bumps have not always been there, and you just never noticed them????? Or maybe depending on how old you are, your junk is just reaching sexual maturity or something... Who knows... Like I said, I can't remember if the skin on my sac was always bumpy or just as I got older (I'm 29 now) Anyway... Seriously... I wouldn't even go to the dermatologist... Be a waste of time... The skin irritation could be 'normal' just from the abrasion of your junk slapping around in your pants all day, against your leg, sweating, etc... You don't have HSV Matt... (well... unless you are a virgin, we can't say for SURE, cause there is always the dormant cases I guess but) What you see... THAT IS NOT HERPES. I'll bet my left nut on it.... But what a great time to REMEMBER HOW SCARED you were, and always use condoms in the future and limit your sex partners to only the ones who are worth it. (unless shes REALLY REALLY REALLY gorgeous, and just wants a one-night stand, then well..........) OK OK, just kidding... :P :P :P :P Wrap it up dude! Answer: What you see... THAT IS NOT HERPES. I'll bet my left nut on it.... HAHAHA... Thats some funny shit... Ok heres what I'm gonna tell you straight up... Think of how many differant ppl those doctors have seen with herpes, think of how many differant sypmtoms they have seen related to herpes infection, if all 3 doctors say this isn't herpes, there is a really good chance that what you have isn't herpes... As to what it could be, think back... Have you recently shaved your pubic hairs, even trimmed... Cause you say 80% of em have hair growing out of them... That irration Pilot is describing are in-grown hairs... Very common, and itchy like you've described... In my opinion thats what this is... Otherwise it could be a reaction to something, soap, washing detergants, condoms, etc... Ppl get new allergies all the time and any point in their life... What you describe doesn't sound like herpes... Herpes dont have hair growing out of em... Heres some pictures of herpes if you wanna see... http://www.herpesalliance.org/signs&symptoms.htm Laate Rich Answer: Faith - I do not mean that in a derrogatory manner at all. Please excuse the graphic nature of the post. I know I know..:D :D Of course I didn't feel it's derogatory manner at all. Yeah... it's surely a "manly" stuff..... :D hehe.. I wouldn't've known how to answer.. Faith Answer: Pilot, Rich and Faith Thanks for your input. I am 32 and I guess like pilot - there was never a problem before so I cant say for sure about all of the bumps. My wife similiar to me cant say for certain but she believes that the bumps are worse than they were. Add to that the dry skin etc. Do you that ingrown hairs could be a problem this long? 2.5 months?? I have not shaved or anything like that? Thanks Answer: I just have to say Pilot, I love your responses!! :D "wrap it up dude"  I hope you do public speaking at the local high schools - you're a natural! As far as the bumps - and opinions from women who have seen "a few" (I know, you all thought I was a virgin!) "Bumpy" skin... been there, seen it... I call it "chicken" skin. Girls have it too, usually around the pubic hair regions. When I shave without the best razor or lotion, The area gets irritated. Pubic hair - ain't it a bitch? No wonder you guys scratch so much! Answer: Do you that ingrown hairs could be a problem this long? 2.5 months?? I have not shaved or anything like that? Yes, and no... I do think ingrown hairs could be a problem but I'm not convinced yours are ingrown hairs... Hair follicles on the sac always seem to be a bit puffy etc.. ALSO... When you have sex, you push/pull on the hair, and that can irritate the hair follicles... Especially when you have a condom on, I've noticed that condoms pull on hair alot, and irritate the hair follicle... And just the fact that you've had it for 2.5 months... just says MORE to me that its not HSV... I LOVE LASMOM's characterization... 'chicken skin' LOL!!! That's a perfect description... I hope you do public speaking at the local high schools - you're a natural! Actually I spoke to some kids football teams about working out and lifting weights, as I'm a bodybuilder (in addition to my regular career), and their coach asked me to speak to them... And I've given presentations at seminars at Universities respective to my career position. I wouldn't mind talking to high school kids. I'd love that. Even though I LOVE what I do, My DREAM job is to be a motivational speaker.... I just have a hard time getting past the issue of doing what I do now, which has VERY measurable, and tangible results to doing something that you can't see the 'fruits of your labor' so to speak. I mean everyone likes a motivational speaker, but does anyone really do anything because of them???? Anyway.... The HILARIOUS part is that when I was a kid, EVEN up to HIGH SCHOOL and my first few years of college I was NOT KIDDING so shy I wouldn't walk into a party, or bar by myself.... Wasn't until I was 21 that I popped out of my shell and realized I LOVED public speaking and my shyness dissappeared... I've had a couple people I went to High School with see me speak, and they were like "NO WAY... SHY NIK speaking in front of this crowd!!" Anyway... I didn't mean to Hijack the thread... Although I guess I dont' feel too bad, cause I think we resolved 'concerned' issue! Answer: Herpes dont have hair growing out of em... Heres some pictures of herpes if you wanna see... http://www.herpesalliance.org/signs&symptoms.htm Laate I was going to add... I went and checked out the pictures... I think those are pretty good representative pictures with the exception that some of them looked to be pretty 'severe' cases to me. Then again, I have pretty mild outbreaks... But the BIG thing I think is that they really show how it looks like a blister, not like a pimple... Answer: Hey NIK, I think you would be great. You always seem to hit the right tone. Hats off to you my friend! I've been asked to speak at my college - "technical" school - not alot of women. They wanted me to talk to the womens groups about women in the construction industry. I told them I would only do it if I could talk to them about womens safety & self defense at the same time. I had a ton of issues while I was in college. Sexual harassment, assault, rape I think alot of it occurred mainly because I was naiive.... I am no martyr, stronger for my experiences good and bad... and I think a little reality slap for the kiddies may be a good idea... but I look forward to it. Don't want to waste years of therapy!!
