Hi all. so ive been doing a lot of reading and im confused of what shedding is exactly.

Im wondering because the skin on my penis is litterally shedding, and i assume that this is what all of the articles are talking about but im not sure.

any info on this issue would be greatly appreciated.

The shedding you are referring to in your question is generally not noticable. It takes place when the virusis active, but with no outward symptoms, so you're rarely aware that anything is happening. Some people experience mild prodomal symptoms, others, nothing at all. The good thing is, it occurrs pretty rarely for most people, so on any given day, if you're symptom free, chances are, you're fine.
