Dont really know what to say...started getting itchy one day...and scoped it out with a mirror...little white spot on the hood of my clitoris.(maybe a yeast infection?)
went pee...wiped...and OHHH MAN IT HURT LIKE EF'n HELL!
looked again...and the skin peeled right off that spot?!!?!?

i knew what it was...had a whole week at school discussing STD's/VD's whatever you want to call em...studying to be a nurse! (the irony!)

got it checked...and yea...i was right.

then it all came to me...he had complained about getting a misquito bite on his penis last summer...and then he said he had a painful ingrown near the base of his penis(more than once)...and then there was the time he blamed me for giving him a rash cuz he didnt want to listen when I said I couldnt have sex while I had a yeast infection....his doctor backed me up on that one.

ive been faithful.

i guess he wasn't.

now i am sick.

people cheat all the time. it happens. i know im not the most agreeable person...maybe enough so to drive him to another woman...but for me to get sick in the process? cmon now...im not that evil...or mean...or that much of a nag that i needed this kind of lesson to put me in my place.

all i can do is ask you all for help i guess....now that i have it.
i want to prevent any outbreaks.

If you spoke to a doc and they agreed that you haev HSV, then I would tell them you would like to be put on a daily Valtrex. Also read the articles to the side on how to supress and things of that sort. YOu can take supplements also.

I personally haven't tried teh dynamiclear myself, but my OB's are not painful since I started Valtrex daily.

And it may even be a possiblity that your ex didn't know that is what he has. I was misdiagnosed when I went to the ER. I was told it was a horrible Yeast Infection and had a allergic reaction to the meds.

There are ALOT of knowledgeable people on this board that can help you out in many ways. This isn't the end of the world. It's just the beginning.

Are you sure he cheated? I came down with GH in the middle of a four year relationship. I was furious with my boyfriend but the first words out of my doctor's mouth were "If you don't have any other reason to think that he cheated then don't because this virus can lie dormant for years." It sounds like he didn't know he had it and maybe he had it before you were together. You didn't put in enough details for me to be able to tell how long you were together and when he started symptoms. The way I got herpes was from oral sex with my BF. He never even had a cold sore that he can remember so it was probably from asymptomatic shedding. He has never had a genital outbreak and I have type 1. I came down with it a day after having oral sex. So yeah I freaked out at first and questioned him about cheating even though I had no other reason to believe he did. So I would get all the facts and then make your decision regarding that. Good luck.
