I have my first genital outbreak 3 months ago I went to the doctor and

he prescribe me Acyclovir, when I finish the treatment the blisters that

I have they were cured! One month ago I have another outbreak I toke

the same dose that the doctor prescribe me the first time. Now I am

having another outbreak and I am not sure if I can keep taken Acyclovir

for each episode? I am taking 800MG for 10days 3 times a day. Can you

please help me!! It its normal to have 3 episodes in less than 3

months? When this is going to stop or normalize?? Thank for your help.

If you are still getting persistent outbreaks while on Acyclovir you may want to talk to your Doctor about other treatment options (such as Valtrex or Famvir).

It could also be helpful to begin taking the recommended in the process, this should help to reduce the activity of the virus.
