Any insight?

Question:
So about a month ago i noticed a few small bumps and red blotchy spots on the head of my penis. They're painless and look like spots from friction or something. Soooo after them not healing for so long i got checked out (she specifically said it didn't look like herpes) and was told it was nothing, a week later they were still there so i go back and now it's "probably herpes". It doesn't look anything like any pictures I'm seeing, and definitely no fluid involved, just a change in texture and a slight bump in one spot. pretty weird.
I have a really strong immune system and am surprised that they would last longer than the 'average' healing time i've been reading about.

Meh. I guess I'm mostly in denial. The only thing that makes me question this is that if he knew so much about herpes, you'd think he would have ordered a lab test.

Well any insight would be spiffy. i have pictures. :o

Not too upset with the prospect of it being anything anymore. Shit happens, we all get over it. Or die, and that doesn't sound too appealing.

THANKS PEOPLE! :p

Answer:
tell your dr you want a blood test done to check for both strands of herpes simplex virus.
