I come from a very traditional family, and I contracted cold sores from some lip gloss that I thought was mine 13 days ago. I've been ultra careful since then, but I really wish I had realized it wasn't my lip gloss when I put it to my mouth. ;-;

I'm feeling rather down about it.

How should I go about being hygeinic about my sores, should I wash all my clothes again. What should I do about my bedsheets?

Your cold sores are on your mouth i take it as you used lip gloss and im guessing you didn't put it elsewhere. I do not believe you need to wash your sheets or anything that extreme, but this is my opinion. Just don't drink after anyone, or let anyone drink after you until your cold sore has gone away. I know it seems like the end of the world right now, but trust me, you will find that its not. Keep your chin up! :)
