my problem
Question: about two weeks ago I kissed a girl and let her give me head. She supposedly gaave head to a guy who has herpes on his genitals, but she had no visible sores on her mouth at all at the time, what should I do? Or what should I worry about? Answer: Way too many questions.. Was he having an outbreak? Does she know she's hsv positive? If no, and no - your chances are slim - all you can do is wait - you can be tested for antibodies in 6-8 weeks I think??? it's posted somewhere here... but that is not a definate test. You'll have to wait to see if you or she has an outbreak or is positive. Ask her those questions if you don't know - and plan on getting tested just in case - try not to freak out - you have been exposed, but may not be infected. good luck Answer: lasmom, would you think that I would have a problem if the girl did not have any active sores in her mouth? And how long would it take to feel symptoms of this disease? Answer: I would think you would have no problem if she DOES NOT have herpes... does she? if the other guy had active sores - chances are high she has it. If she has it and no sores, and hasn't had an outbreak within a few weeks I believe the stat is 2% if she's shedding the virus - so odds are you're OK - but there still IS a chance. Find out if she has it. Symptoms can show anytime - few days after on - some people are asymptomatic for years. Are you having symptoms? If you let this consume you your mind will convince you that you do - so stay calm, check out the facts first. Answer: No, there are no signs that she has herpes. And I am not having any symptoms at all. I am just worried because nothing like this has ever happened to me. Plus, I believe if she does not have any active sore in her mouth, chances are that I will not be infected. Copyright © 2007 - 2008 www.thanktoday.com
