I have what I believe to be a few hairbumps in my pubic region. However, the area they are in is red. Can redness occur around hairbump "outbreaks", or should I be worrying about something else? The redness does not really itch, and it has not really spread.

although outbreaks can occur in that region, bumps in the pubic area are pretty common. if hair is coming out of these "bumps" or follicles you should have nothing to worry about. however if these bumps are filled with a clear fluid or begin to hurt you should get it checked

Redness around a hair follicle is probably just an infected follicle, or irritated from pulling on the hair..
