after reading a specific thread, i was over come with dread.

i had a cold sore that was near healed, chilled w/ my gf at the time, and we got drunk. i pretty much dont remember the night, but i am for certain i gave her oral sex. this was early in the relationship.

now im worried i gave us both herpes. its quite possible? its been 3 months since then. i show no symptoms nor has she told me of any.

i dont feel so much dread for myself as i do for her. shes young, and i feel i might have ruined her life. when she gets back from vacation i will tell her. i feel its my duty. i still and always will love her.

Yes, it IS possible that you gave her herpes by the oral sex. Some people have no symptom, even if they were exposed to the virus (means, they were infected)
But it was almost healed, right..? I think the possibility is pretty low.

Besides,..... you're doing all the right thing now, for you and for her. Even if she got it, that doesn't mean you ruined her life, at all.

Just do the best you can do now, like you do....
