Does anyone know about vulvodynia?
Question: As I have explained on my other threads, I have been suffering from herpes-like symptoms for five years, but all my STD tests (including HSV type-specific IGg, well beyond the seroconversion period) have been coming back negative (I have tested twice for just about every STD under the sun). I have vaguely heard of a little-known condition called "vulvodynia" or "vulvovaginitis" that causes burning and itching symptoms but doesn't show up on lab tests. I would be interested in hearing from anyone who has suffered from this or who knows anything about it. I know it's a bit off-topic but I would really appreciate the help... Answer: have you tried the vaginal yeast remedies? if yes, was there any relief in your symptoms? sounds like your body chemistry is a bit "off"... i would try taking acidophilus... you can try yogurt with live/active cultures of acidophilus... the ingredient side of the label will show it if it is in the yogurt. the key word is "active" or "live", not just "acidophilus". acidophilus is bacteria that your stomach should benefit from. it balances the yeast that may be there so the yeast is not creating havoc (the symptom of yeast out of control could be itching in the vaginal or anus area). good luck: hope you have relief SOON Copyright © 2007 - 2008 www.thanktoday.com
