I just went to the doctor and was diaginosed but the doctor wasn't very clear on anything.I think he was uncomfortable. I made another apointment but its not for a few weeks.Can someone help me with a few questions please???

I got genitals herpes from oral sex so how do I know if I have type 1 or 2?

If my husband has type 1 and i have 2 can he still get type 2?

Lastly is there some type of over the counter cream to help with this god awful rawness and pain??

I am not clear on your full story, but I would definatly find another doctor or visit your local clinic.

If you have a lesion that can swab it to determine wether it was type 1 or 2

a blood test may be helpful if you were already positive for one type already.

In my experience tylenol, over the counter vagisil cream for pain relief so I could shower, cool blow dryer really helped
