I move to Az 6 Months ago in hopes of starting a new life and finding a partner to live the rest of my life with,and I will admit yesterday win I realized I probably have H I thought my life was over,Today is a little better with the feelings but all the pain is still there,
Some questions I have are,
with all the reading I have been doing no one ever says how long the OB s last?
Like I said I am new to the area and don't have a Doctor yet I am temted to go to the emergency room at the locale Hospital,Or should I find a doc or clinic of some kind?
and do any of these creams really work?
And help would be appreciated

I went straight to my dr. THere is probably a minor emergency clinic you could go to and they might put you on a medication like valtrex to help the ob go away quicker. I would definitely suggest going to a doctor whether it is the emergency room or a minor emergency clinic. You need to be tested to be sure and once the doctor knows whats wrong he/she will help you. You need to do what you are most comfortable with and in time it will get better. The outbreaks vary in how long they last, but mine was about 5 days. Good luck and I am so sorry to hear.

You may also want to try a planned parenthood type clinic. They can usually do the HSV tests for fairly cheap or even for free, and will most likely have better info than a clinic or ER doctor.
