Question:
Okay, found what looked like tiny skin tag on the outside of my inner labia...no fluid in it or anything...went to the doctor, who did vaginal exam and said it looked nothing like herpes. He said he saw nothing of concern, aside from a bit of yeast, which he sampled, and said that if ANYTHING I could possibly have a tiny, little wart. So he did a swab.

Now...can I relax and not worry about herpes? I'm seriously freaking out here...I don't want to have this, I know life goes on but I'm just terrified beyond believe. I can't even eat I'm so freaked out right now.

Went to a second doctor, who also said it wasn't herpes...so...should I relax?

Should I still worry? I've been with my current partner for almost 11 months, and sleeping with him for almost 10....he's my fourth partner, first I've gone condom-less with.

First guy I dated six years ago, for 9 months. We always used condoms. Second guy I slept with once, with a condom, and third I slept with three times, with a condom, and that was nearly three years ago.

I've never (knock on wood) had blisters...I do have other skin-tag-like things in my vagina, and they've been there for years, unchanging, never painful. I had a full gyno exam in November (so after my bf and I started sleeping together) and she did all the normal swabs and tests and they all came back normal....

So can I relax? If two docs said "not herpes"...and I don't have any typical herpes symptoms, just a skin-tag-like thing...what do you think??

I'm so scared of this disease...before I was afraid cuz I had one sip off my friend's drink, and she's had coldsores in her past, though not at the time I took the sip (eight days ago) and none now..

So...can I relax? Should I still worry about herpes?

Does a painless, non-fluid filled skin tag thing sound like herpes? I discovered it this morning, and it's remained totally unchanged all day...
