Needed help, and this is the only place I know to go???
Question: Alright, here is a quick story... I have a girlfriend who has herpes, but she hasn't had an outbreak in a good while, so keep that in mind. - We kinda had sex, although we haven't been going out for too long, so actually it was really not much at all... I barely entered her, and then we put an end to the act. Well, now I am extremely paranoid... It's been a pretty good while back - a month or so I'd guess - not really sure. BUT now I have a little rash of some type coming up - it's just like everyone else said - little white dots - although they are pretty small (small enough for me to dismiss as hairbumps)... This isn't on the actual penis, it's on my inner thighs, which never came into play in what little we did. It doesn't burn, itch, or even become noticable until I begin to mess with it... At what time is becomes slightly itchy, but no burning or no pain. I really haven't had any of the other symptoms that were mentioned - but me being as paranoid as I am, I can make anything into a symptom. IF I touch the place it become itchy, but after rubbing a little Caladryl on the spot the itching is relieved - but wearing some underwear I own kinda makes it worse. None of these bumps look anything like anything I've seen on any of the websites, and like I said - they could easily pass as hair bumps. This area is also dry (much like a lot of my skin, which I think may also be contributing to the cause. These dots have been on me for at least a week or so - probably more like a week and a half (since I took notice, then paranoia has kept me checking on it), and I haven't had anything like are on these websites (thank goodness for that, because most of it looks VERY painful). But like I said this is my inner thigh area, on both sides... I haven't felt anything I would consider tingly, and doesn't burn unless I have been itching for an extended amount of time, then use lotion on it. I don't burn when I urinate, my muscles don't ache, have had no discharge, no notable fever, no crust or whatever you want to call it (even when I didn't use the lotion... I really don't know what is supposed to crust, but I don't know much about this). I really am sorry about my lack of knowlege here, because some of you are so knowlegeable, but that is why I am here to begin with. Like I said, I am extremely paranoid I guess... I am just hoping and praying that it's not that, because I am a VERY shy person. I really don't know what other info you guys need? I can give anything ya need to you, so just ask and I will answer - but I've talked to a couple of people who have it, and they seem kinda doubtful after the stuff I told them. I won't let them look (shyness), but the symptoms speak loudly enough in most cases. Please help me out guys. Answer: Hi, Doesn't sound like herpes to me........ I don't know which part of her body she usually get outbreaks ( in genital? around genital? close to butt?...etc.). But bear in mind, even if you use condom, if the virus is shedding from where the condom doesn't cover, you can get infected. And also, even when she doesn't have outbreak, it's possible that the virus is shedding. But the things you described are not "typical" symptom of herpes. I can't say I'm 100% sure, but... it doesn't seem like herpes... If you still worry, go see dermatologist and let him/her check it. And even if you don't get those blisters or any other symptom, you can have the blood test to see if you were exposed to the virus or not. Wait 12 weeks from the possible exposure. Remember. There is always a possibility of getting herpes if you have sex with her. Before you have sex with her, you should be sure that you will be fine, even if you get it. If you are not sure about it, simply, don't have sex with her. It's gonna hurt you both, if something happens. Best wishes.. Faith Copyright © 2007 - 2008 www.thanktoday.com
