Ocular Herpes

Question:
I do not know much about ocular HSV besides that it causes sudden and sharp pains, whitishish discharge that can be seen on the colored part of your eye, discharge out of your eye and sensitivity to light. Have I left out anything?

Ok, my situation is the following: One day my eyes felt irritated. I looked in the mirror and they were red. And in one of my eyes I had like the cluster of what looked like red veins. I might be over dramatic here. It was like a small. Like 1/100 the size of a dime. Well I didnt know what to think since I've been scared of herpes for sometime now. Never had any other symptoms. What I did was put Visine for red eyes in my eyes and the red veins just seem to go away. There are still reddish veins but thats natural right? The cluster seemed to lighten as soon as I put the Visine in and after a nights rest you can barely see it. I have no dilated pupils, no sensivity to light, no discharge and no irritation or "pain" out of the usual.

I know no one here is a doctor but if anyone can help me out I would feel better. Herpes isnt a major threat until it becomes ocular or encheplalitis.

Answer:
Put your mind at rest.. you're fine. Everybody gets those.. at least I know I do. :)
