I'm hoping someone can answer my questions!?!?

Question:
Okay, well I'm pretty sure that I have herpes although it seems very mild all the time. I know that if I did I contracted it from my current boyfriend and I knew what I was getting into when I got into the relationship. However, he said he has been tested 3 times and it hasn't come up as herpes, but he does get slightly itchy and irritated down there. And that is what I'm feeling. It drives me crazy because it totally makes sex not as comfortable and can cause bleeding. I get a little red outside my vagina and there are some small red bumps that I noticed when I was shaving it hurt when I ran the razor over it. I know it's not just razor burn because I quit shaving for a while to see if the bumps came back and they did. I have accepted that I probably have herpes but I just don't know if there is a cream I can buy to keep the redness/itchiness/bumps away and enjoy my sex life again. Right now I'm just using cortizone cream to relieve the itching. But I need to know if I need to go see my doctor and get different stronger medicine for this or if there is over the counter creams I can get to keep it from coming back. Also does that sound like herpes? Because if my boyfriend got tested and says he doesn't have it then how could I have it because the 2 guys I was with before him were virgins. So I just don't know what to think or do. Please help.....

Answer:
Are you sure the other two guys you were with were virgins?? Also, are you sure your boyfriend might be telling you he's neg because hes scared you'll stop having sex with him?? As a guy thats something that would cross my mind if I were in his situation. I know this didnt help but hopefully you'll get the answers you seek. Good luck.

Answer:
Coritizone cream makes herpes worse. Contact your doctor and he/she may be able to prescribe you valtrex to help whenever you get an outbreak.

Answer:
Also does that sound like herpes? mmmmmm maybe... but I don't think so...

After reading your post, I'm 75% sure its not herpes, 25% maybe...

Lots of things cause itching and irritation... bumps... lots of things cause that too... but if it was an outbreak, I can't IMAGINE YOU'D run your razor over it.

So i'd see a DR, but I don't think its HSV...
