How long question, easy answer?

Question:
I was just wondering how long the white things were present before turning into a blister? I mean are we talking days, weeks, a month? I am very unsure about this, because I haven't heard this mentioned as I can remember. I mean how long does that step normally take?

Answer:
White? That's usually more a pimple, but as far as the blisters are concerned - if you leave them alone - keep the area dry - maybe a couple of days before they open? Mine are gone within a day - I'm on valtrex, mild OBs and insane about clean/dry/no touchy

Have you been diagnosed? It it definately HSV?

Answer:
Mine blisters never open up unless I were to scratch them pretty significantly TRYING to make them open...

But as far as 'white' things... Like Faith said... are you sure you have HSV? HSV typically isn't white, and typically the first thing you see is a blister, not a white thing that later turns into a blister.

Answer:
Like Faith said... You honor me by confusing me with Faith....

I forgot to say - mine don't open either, NO TOUCHY......go away within a day - then red, dry - itchy like dry skin.... scab over - "dry skin" like - then... all gone.

Answer:
lol....

You honor me by confusing me with Faith.... Oops!

Reminds me of the time I called my girlfriend by my ex-girlfriends name...

Answer:
That went over HUGE I bet!

Haven't we all done that?

Ok - see ya J!

Answer:
No, I haven't been checked, I was just wondering if I did have it how long it would take.

Answer:
In that case - are they white bumps like a white head/pimple?

It may just be irritation. But a doc can tell what it is while theyare still visible - so if you are concerned, have them looked at before they go away.

Mine look more like an irregular shaped burn. Not a round white head.

Answer:
Yes, they are white and around much like a pimple, but are rather small for a pimple. And the skin is red in some instances, so I was kinda just wondering. These white bumps have been around for at least a week, probably more than that.
