I Maybe Being Ignorant

Question:
Hello,

I know this might sound stupid but what does a HSV blister look like? What are some propterties of a HSV blister? Can it be raised skin like a pimple? I think I may have HSV. During my exposure I did not notice any outbreaks on my partner but I could have been infected through asymptomatic shedding. I don't know what to do. I'm afraid of going to the clinic. I'm afraid they will judge me and think I am some kind of savage. I can't even say the word STD on the phone with the person. I am depressed and it's getting worse as time passes.

Answer:
dear 19 year old,

people at clinics are used to seeing stuff like herpes, so don't worry, they won't think of you like a "savage" at all. i think people who haven't been met people who have STDs are the ones who will usually judge you. doctors and nurses at clinics know that you're a normal person who is may have symptoms of a very common virus. don't be afraid to get a check up. who knows? maybe you don't have H, and you're feeling depressed over some pimples.

Answer:
Herpes looks like small white (clearish) blisters. the blisters are pretty small (smaller then a burn blister) about the size of a pen tip (i guess) and the blisters are in a colony..... that means there are probably a few or several blisters very close together.... look for a red spot, and inside this redspot, there should be small fluid filled blisters.... don't pop them or else it spreads. it is different from pimples... since pimples don't form in colonies like coldsores.

hope this has some answeres for you..... and don't worry about seeing the doctor about it.... its better he/she sees it, and give you a diagnoses and give some treatment, then to let it spread....... don't worry... one person seeing it is much better then everyone seeing it out in public..... just remember.. it is there job to do this..... they get $$$ for it..... the clinics probably have seen worse cases then what you have...... don't be a worry freak, you may be surprised how many of Us has it.... hope this helps sweety

If it is herpes:

take l-lysine, Vitamin (c, B-complex, E) , Zinc, put aloeVera on skin for healing... Basically.... make sure you have a strong immune system to fight it. stay healthy.

don't play with the sore

Answer:
Hi Dumb19YrOld, (gosh, I hate to call you with the name!!! :D)

Go see a doctor. Only that way, you can know if you have it or not, for sure.
No one there will judge you. <smile>

Best wishes..
