Well I read a thread and some body said that if the bump hais hair coming out of it then it isnt herpes. is this information accurate?

Yes.... if you have hair coming out of every bump that you suspect, then its not herpes..

If you have a few bumps REALLY close together, and one just happens to have a hair coming out of it.... maybe it could be hsv...

But generally, you'd be able to tell that the hair was just close to the bump and not coming out of the exact center...

hair coming out of a bump is usually an irritated or infected hair follicle/ingrown hair...

there was definently hair coming directly out of both of them because i pulled both of the hairs out. One was a lot smaller than the other one and didnt hurt before or after pulling out the hair. the other one hurt. felt similar to how a zit on your face would feel and i pulled the hair out of that one 2. wasnt really any stuff comin out. the bigger one has gotten a lot smaller and doesnt really hurt either. all this happened in about 4 days.
