Qx for Pilot or other Regulars

Question:
I got a blood test done that was about 110-117 days post possible exposure (can't pinpoint the exact date). Never had an outbreak, but from what I've read that doesn't really matter...people can have it w/o symptoms.

The test was Negative. I'm kicking myself in the butt for not waiting the full 120 days, but I could not take the waiting.

I'm basically still obsessing about this and still concerned about having it.

Is it more likely I do not have it, or would you guys recommend another test?

thanks

Answer:
Well, if you figure 113.5 (avg. of est. time since exposure)/120=.946, I'd say you can relax 95% of the way RIGHT NOW. If you really need that last 5% confirmation get tested again if it's convenient, but I think you're obsessing unnecessarily. I wonder how arbitrary the 120-day thing is, anyway.

Sounds like you don't have it to me. Be happy!

Answer:
I wonder how arbitrary the 120-day thing is, anyway. VERY arbitrary...

The blood test looks for antibodies in your blood.... Its not like on day 119 you have no antibodies, and then on day 120... BOOM there they are...

Never had an outbreak The test was Negative Dude... You're fine....

No outbreak... test was negative... So what if it was 3 days or 10 days early...

You are fine....
