Well first let me say that Ihave been married for almost 6 years and never recall getting a fever followed by anything resembling a breakout. Also I should state that my wife and I are currently going to a fertiltiy Dr. fo rthe last 8 months. As is standard that test for STD's but I am not 100% certain that they test for Herpes. Anyway I have expeirenced some patches of super dry red patches on my penis. One such are is direclty under the head of the penis a spot where my wifes hand often causes much friction. The second area is towards the base of my shaft ( also an area of much friction). The areas get VERY dry and flakey as well as pretty somewhat sensitive. Another factor I should mention is that the climate is VERY dry where we live and as such our skin is often dry. K so normally I am leanign towards this just being a case of too much friction and VERY chaffed skin. My question is though would chaffed / raw areas like this cause burnign / itching when we have intercourse? Also I have what appears to one small pimple on the shaft but that may be from lotion used for "dryness".... No problems with burnign or anyhting when urinating ...she doe snot have any symptoms and generally no "pain" from dry areas other then discomfort in contact with her vaginal fluids or rubbed hard. Dr. has told us that sometimes womens vaginal fluids can cause such irritation depending on her diet or possible yeast infection especially if it is sensitve skin

Well, I have been experiencing something similar. I developed small red bumps, dry skin on penis, redness, very thin skin peeling and slight itching. I have been sleep with one new partner and never had any problems until this last time. Recently she has been sick and taking antibiotics, and birth control pills. I was told that women on these medications can have mild yeast infections which a man can catch on his penis. I have been using 1 % Clotrimazole anti-fungal cream and the dryness seems to be dissipating and redness gone. No lithcing.

However, there is a very tiny pimple like area near the frenulum. But this has been there before catching this possible yeast infection. It has never blistered, or gotten bigger. It bothers me and I'm not sure what it is. I'm a afraid it could be herpes. It hasn't gotten worse or changed any. The possible yeast infection appears to be nearly all gone, but I'm concerned about this little tiny bump. It's doesn't even really seems to be a bump. Rather flat. About the size of a niddle head, small. There is only one. The rest of my penis is fine. Any input would be nice.

Ok, what "Confused" described is almost identical to my problem. I have been with my girlfriend for 2 years and I have only had sex with one person (my girlfriend) in 4 years. I have just recently noticed that I have small patches (2 to be exact) of dry skin on the shaft of my penis. I also have one very tiny patch around the base of the head of my penis. This has been going on for 2 weeks. Right now it looks like it could be healing but I can not tell. Does anyone have any idea as to what it could be? I have looked online at multiple pictures and nothing looks even remotely similar to what I have. Hey man, I also get dry tpe skin on my penis, there are no bumps, just sometimes it peels alot, when I masturbate it gets really bad peeling. Like the skin is just flaking off. I dont know what it could be. Sometimes it will last for a while, longer the more often I masturbate. I am so worried about what it may be. PLEASE CAN SOMEONE SAY WHAT THIS COULD BE?
