so i've read that you have been diagnosed with both herpes and warts. can you help me out on how you got through it and your personal experience that might be helpful to me dealing with it ?

Answer:
First of all I will adress warts. I was diagnosed with those 6 years ago in high school. I thought it was the end of the world. I didn't know anything about it. Having so many of them, I had to get surgical removal which was a huge pain in the ass, literally. Now I probably shouldn't say this but im going to anyways: genital warts are not permanent. They go away, the virus goes away. I have never "given" them to any of the poeple I have had unprotected sex with. I had unprotected sex with my last gf an average of 4 times a week for 3 years. She never got them. There are serious risks for women from what I understand, but I know alot of women who have had warts and they don't ever think about it. So as far as warts go, I honestly laff about how freaked out i was when I was diagnosed. It was all for nothing. I do not have genital warts anymore. Some of you will insist things like "BUT ONCE YOU HAVE IT YOU HAVE IT FOR LIFE!!!" YOU CANT CURE A VIRUS" But like I said, I do not have genital warts anymore, AND NEVER WILL AGAIN. Once you get them removed and you follow it up with care, if they're gone they usually stay gone. By the way, its amazing how many people have had genital warts, i wasnt even remotely shy about it at the time. I told all of my friends and my gf. Nobody gave a shit because of the fact that half of them had it too. One of my friends was born with warts. Niether of his parents had them at any point in their lives either.

I was very recently exposed to some frickn herpes virus. I have antibodies. I don't have syptoms of anything and personally i'm not too sure I was even exposed to the herpes virus. My mother and father both have genital herpes, so maybe i still have antibodies or something. Maybe i was born with genital herpes. Who knows, who cares. Playing the what if game is a waste of time.


Viruses and bacteria all come from somewhere. Sure you can get them form sex but thats not the only place you can get them. People get things, catch things, and create things. My gf used to give me yeast infections all the time. We never even bothered to use a condom while she had it, because I simply did not care. I don't look at viruses and things of this nature as gross or weird. Everyone has had them, has them , or will get them in the future.

I realize my post is a little random and choppy, its hard to explain what im trying to say to you. I was almost suicidal about being diagnosed with warts and now it amuses me how childish i was being. I can tell you a thing or two about these subjects but I don't want to post it here on this board, because peple will be upset with what I have to say. Maybe we could talk in a chat room somewhere or something. My advice cant be jotted out in lines, there would have to be some reciprocity.
