Ok, I need some help again. I got my test results today and they tell me nothing. My doctor says that I have definately been exposed to herpes virus. However, due to my nonspecific type i have, there is no way of knowing if it is type 1 or 2. It was a type-specific test, however, he says that I'm in a "gray area." He said that it could be anything from chicken box to cold sores screwing up the test. Since it's been six months since the sexual encounter, he says he doubts it's VD related. Does anyone have any advice on this? Thanks so much for your help.
