confused and newly diagnosed.
Question: I recently got a blood test and was tested for all of the stds. It came back positive for HSV 1 & 2. I've never had a cold sore and I've never had a sore in my genitals. Is it possible to have the virus and never have it affect you? Does anyone know? I've never had an initial outbreak. Can anyone relate to me and tell me their story. Thanks. Greatly appreciated. Answer: it is possible to have the virus without out breaks... probably you have a strong immune system to fight the virus, so you never had an outbreak, yet. but if you become stressed, our you immune system is weakER... during winter, times of stress, it is possible to have an outbreak. make sure you keep your body in healthy and immune system strong. Answer: I'm worried about transfering it to my future wife. I've heard that babies can contract it during birth from their mothers. What is the % or risk of this and how will it affect the baby or what diseases or adverse effects will the baby get? Can someone help? Thanks.
