Is it possible to get HSV2 from just having oral sex with a girl, both ways?
I got a little drunk and did something stupid with a girl I normally wouldn't have gone near and I'm a little freaked out. I'm noticing some sores on my face but given my age they're probably just small little acne breakouts (which I get often) I haven't noticed any sores or anything down there as of yet. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

yes, you can get HSV2 or HSV1 in either location from oral sex. Take a look at the pictures of Herpes on this site to get an idea of what it looks like before you decide yours is acne... do you have any other symptoms? You can get it orally and not genitally, so don't necessarily expect sores down there... if you have any doubts of it being acne, go see your doctor.

Let me just tell ya... nothing... not number of sexual partners, reputation, hygeine, nothing is an indication of someone having herpes. Some of the people that you would least expect are H positive... and vice versa... some of the people that you would expect are not. So maybe don't be so quick to judge next time.

I was pointing out the importance that nothing is an indication of someone having Herpes...in that hopefully in the future this young man won't 'think nothing of it' because he was with a girl that he would normally have gone near... I think it's important to note that Herpes doesn't discriminate.

i think one should find out a bit more about the situation before assuming someone is passing judgment. Tribulan never said why he would never have normally gone near the girl, for all anyone knows she's easy and more likely to have something, or maybe he wouldn't normally have gone near her simply because he didn't know her well enough. I'm sorry if anyone here has been discriminated against in some way, but don't let it make you jaded, especially in an accepting environment like this.
