I am going to go get tested soon just for the simple fact that i started thinking of the backgrounds of all 3 girls i've slept with and not because of what i've seen on myself. more of a 'i want to make myself feel better' kind of deal. i'd really appreciate it if someone could tell me what exactly to expect and how soon i will be able to get results and other things i might need to know

physical exam...i.e. the doctor fondles your junk for a bit and looks at it.
depending on what you want to test for, a few blood draws and urine tests. You have to request a herpes blood test though, otherwise they wont do it.
