HI, im new here and I've been reading many posts. i have a few questions, i actually have many questons because i am just 2 months 17 and have been told by my doctor that it looks like i have herpes. I have a b/f that i've been with for 8 months, im pretty sure i gave it to him, because before me he has never been with anyone without a condom. I have previously about a year ago had intercourse 1 single time without a condom before my current b/f. it started last thursday, with fever symptoms and my vagina being sore and clear watery discharge constantly for the whole day. That same night i couldnt sleep because it was very painfull and i was crying of course. then i had a fever the next day a terrible fever that left me bed ridden and thats when the blisters started to appear and when i urinated it stung the affected area that had these blisters. But basically there are blisters on both the lower part of my vaginal lips and in between my buttox, and inside is white and red like marble and the white parts burn terribly but no bump like blisters just streaks of white. this makes it a horrible task for me to urinate. i try and urinate 2 times a day because the pain is so excruciating. im currently taking valtrex 3 times a day. and it just seems to me that the pain keeps getting worse and the discharge keeps getting more frequent and thick. i wonder if you can tell me what your diet is like so i can see if it would be right for me because i am willing to do anything to have as few ob's as humanly possible. I also feel terrible that i may have given it to my b/f but he has already expressed its not going to change anything. I told him he should go get tested and get on some kind of medication to supress it just in case he has an ob, but he refuses saying he already knows he has it if i have it and doesnt care, im worried about him and i want him to get tested and to take care of it. Also 2 days after i told him he has had 4 red bumps on his penis now i am really worried because he still doesnt want to do anything about it. what happens herpes is not treated? i just started treatment on the 6th day of my ob, i can barely walk because my lymph nods are so swollen and hurt as well as my back. i still have not had a decent nights sleep since thursday and its now wed. i just want to know when will the ob be over the pain is terrible. urinating used to be a comfort now its like pulling out my fingernails. is there any advice any1 can give me at all? its my first ob and ive been trying to find out every scrap of information on herpes. and reading these boards have scared me a little but has given me a lot of hope as well.

Thanx very much and things have gotten better, the outbreak is SLOWLY fading away hopefully i wont have another 1 for a while
